The Station
The original station dates back to the 1930's and was replaced in the 1950's with the current
modern facility, built by Marty Syring.
The historic Sinclair station has been a landmark along the banks of the Mississippi
for over seventy years, and is Champlin's oldest surviving business.
Champlin Sinclair is still owned by the Syring family
and is operated by the Merkl brothers, Jim and John, who have been serving the Champlin community for over thirty years.
Jim's wife, Diana, provides a stabilizing presence as the office manager.
Champlin Sinclair provides full automotive services and repairs, including pumping gasoline and diesel fuels.
We have four service bays and two tow trucks. Our technicians are ASE certified. Two of which are Master Techs with L1 certificaton.
